Wedding planning can become overwhelming super quickly after the initial "oh my gosh we are engaged" excitement wears off and you realize how much you have to do.
It's important to remember wedding planning can and should be fun.
P.S. Brides, don't forget to ask your fiancé for his opinion during planning. You may be pleasantly surprised :) Below are the top 5 free apps I used when planning my wedding.
1. Wedding Planner by The Knot
Build your wedding website, search for vendors, keep track of rsvp's, budget, sync registries, and create a custom checklist with built in pre-estimated timelines all in one place for FREE. This was by far the most helpful tool I used during wedding planning. Think of this app as your free virtual wedding planner. The best news is that this app is available on desktop AND mobile which makes updating it on the go even easier. It really can't get much better than this ladies!
Pin and share inspiration, decoration ideas, dresses, helpful links, and themes all in one secret or public board. This is also a great place to find inspiration, games and downloads for bridal showers and bachelorette parties.
3. Google Drive
Create a folder on your drive called "Wedding" and put documents of anything and everything you wedding related in it! Google Docs is great for organizing addresses, day of schedules, and design information. Best of all you can update them on your phone or your computer and share them whenever and with whoever.
4. Wedding Countdown
I had to throw in at least one fun one! With the wedding countdown app on your phone you'll know exactly how many more minutes until you get hitched to the love of your life :)
Lastly, this one isn't actually free, but it's too good of a resource for brides not to list! For affordable bridesmaids dresses ($99-169), Azazie is a great online option with custom sizes available at no extra cost. They have loads of colors and styles to choose from. So whether you want long, short, the same color or want to mix and match you can rest easy your bridal party will look 10/10. You can even get a free color swatch by signing up for their newsletter. I used Azazie and it alleviated a lot of stress for myself and my bridesmaids.
