Zach and Tia Proposal | Des Moines Social Club Rooftop Proposal

Zach and Tia have modeled for me in the past, so I was pretty excited when Zach texted me and asked if I was available to photograph the surprise proposal he was planning.

Candles, photos of memories they have together, twinkly lights, the outdoors, and a gorgeous ring what more could a girl dream of? How about a fake pop up art museum event to get her to come without drawing any suspicion and a legit Square Space website just in case she had her doubts. 😉 Talk about going all out! Zach was all about the details while planning and made sure everything was perfect for Tia, which I loved!

Taylor + Jeremy: Des Moines Urban Engagement Session | Des Moines Engagement Photographer

Taylor and Jeremy requested an urban setting for their engagement photos, we braved the cold for a few minutes to get some shots with their Golden Doodle: Rio. He was such a cutie and even sat for me a few times 😊After we got some super cute family photos, we hurried inside to warm up and capture more of their love story. Taylor and Jeremy were so easy going and fun to spend time with. I cannot wait for their wedding this fall at Curate! Fingers crossed Rio is a part of their wedding day as well 😉

Miranda + Tyler: Camp EWALU Engagement Session | Strawberry Point Engagement Photographer

I met Miranda and Tyler at Camp EWALU in Strawberry Point for their engagement session: the spot they met, worked, their relationship blossomed, and they plan to have their wedding. Tyler and Miranda knew the camp like their back hand and they were able to show me the best spots around the huge grounds. This session was a little chilly, but their sweet and fun personalities made the cold air fade away pretty quickly during their session.
