Cooper Senior Session | Prairie City Senior Photographer

We ended up rescheduling Cooper’s session twice due to rain, but third times the charm really was true for us! We got the perfect fall day for Cooper’s senior photos. We started the session at his childhood home in Prairie City. His backyard had so much variety that I enjoyed exploring and using during his session. He started out looking super dapper in his navy suit and that switched it up to a more casual look. Cooper loves cross country and soccer, so we made sure to some photos of him in his uniforms as well. Once we were done making the rounds at his house, we went downtown to check out the new mural in Prairie City. Scroll through to see my favorites of Cooper and the new mural for yourself!

It’s not too late to book your own senior session for winter or spring 2020! Gone are the days that you have to have photos taken before your senior year starts. I love documenting senior’s and what has made it special for each senior.

Zach and Tia | Downtown Des Moines Engagement Session

Here it is folks, part two of Zach and Tia’s engagement session. For a different feel we went downtown and snapped some portraits in front of the beautiful ivy wall that I’m now obsessed with. I love how changing outfits and locations can create a totally different look in engagement photos. Carissa and Andrew Wedding Day | Waverly Wedding Photographer

Carissa and Andrew’s big day called for rain, but not a drop ended up falling! It was the perfect September day for an outdoor wedding at the Waverly Golf Club. Carissa and Andrew chose to keep traditional and not see each other before walking down the aisle. They were both so excited during their portraits leading up to the ceremony. Carissa and Andrew decided to keep the tradition of not have a first look. Instead Carissa had a sweet emotional first look with her dad. It had me tearing up myself!

Andrew was grinning from ear to ear the moment he saw Carissa walk down the aisle and it had me smiling behind the camera as well!

I had the best time with Carissa and Andrew at their wedding day and feel, so blessed I was able to be a part of their wedding day!
