Tyler and Madelyn Botanical Garden Engagement Session | Des Moines Engagement Photographer

This was an extra special engagement session for me for several reasons. Jon and my engagement session was at the Greater Des Moines Botanical Garden, so whenever I come back it brings back happy memories. It was extra cool when my own brother asked to take his engagement photos there 😊Madelyn and Tyler had never been, so I had fun walking around and showing them my favorite little corners of the gardens. We even were able to venture outside and get some photos of the city in the background. It was pretty difficult to choose my favorites because Tyler and Madelyn were so giggly and obviously in love in every single image. 😍Scroll down to see my favorite of their smiling faces 😊

I had so much fun hanging out with Madelyn and Tyler at the Botanical Gardens and cannot wait to photograph then again in Cedar Falls on their wedding day this summer 🙂🎉

Alison and Caleb Wedding Day | Greater Des Moines Botanical Garden Wedding Photographer

Alison and Caleb were laid back and all smiles on their wedding day at the Greater Des Moines Botanical Garden. From the first look to the very end of the night the two were full of joy and soaked in all the love through out the day. It was an intimate day with their family and friends and it was easy to see that every single person who attended the wedding was important to Alison and Caleb. Their families made me feel like I was one of them and I had an absolute blast spending the day with them. Not to mention they had the most delicious Vegan food and cupcakes at their reception, which I definitely enjoyed a little too much of 🙂

Laynee and Sam Engagement Session | Greater Des Moines Botanical Garden

Sam and Laynee wanted their session at the Greater Des Moines Botanical Garden and I said yes to that idea right away. I love greenery and there is nothing more soothing to me than being surrounded by nature.

Laynee is a total plant lover and as we walked around she was naming plants and it was obvious she knew her stuff. If I have a plant question in the future I’m totally asking her. Sam on the other hand is a Laynee lover and it was very obvious during their session. 😉 All the sweet looks, touches, and giggles got me so excited for their big day! 😍

These two are getting married summer 2020 at the Iowa Taproom and I cannot wait! For now I will just keep looking at their photos to tide me over ;)
